Description
Tasting Note
The nose is utterly complex with aromas of brambles, mulberries, boysenberry and subtle nuances of black olives, freshly ground black pepper and rose petals. Wild berries and the earthy, savoury character of the nose follows through onto a very rounded, medium-bodied palate with integrated acidity. This wine is the epitome of Swartland Syrah with its purity of fruit, exceptional balance, velvety tannins and great focus on the midpalate. Hints of cured meat and dark orange chocolate linger on a silky finish.
